The author of this book is, as the title suggests, a Czech lawyer and my dear colleague, yet you will not encounter such awkwardness from her in any case. Instead, you can read about what it is like when such a "Czech lawyer" travels from Brno to California to see how interpersonal disputes are resolved "American-style" (which is, please note, the "mediation"). While listening to the well-known song by Scott McKenzie, San Francisco, I read this book in one breath. In my case, the irrefutable presumption holds that: the text presented by the author is legally certain, understandable, does not contradict good morals – and above all – is simply entertaining!
