Teoretické aspekty obchodného registra - Minulosť a súčasnosť – Bedlovičová Jana Slivka (2019)

The prerequisite for a proper understanding of the issues surrounding the commercial register is knowledge of historical contexts, as well as the individual changes that have been made throughout its development. The monograph maps the historical development from the time of its predecessor – the guild lists, through the progressive commercial register of 1875 and the discontinuity during the socialist period, to the return to the "cornerstones" of the commercial register at the beginning of the 1990s. The publication follows this period with an analysis of the legal status de lege lata in the conditions of the Slovak Republic, focusing on the substantive, procedural, and organizational aspects of the commercial register. This legal regulation has also been significantly influenced by European Union law, particularly in the area of publicity. Therefore, the monograph addresses the legal regulation of publicity at the European level while also drawing attention to a relatively new development – the connection of central registers, commercial registers, and company registers within the European Union.
