Praktikum práva Evropské unie – group of authors (2016)

The practicum covers key questions and the latest trends in European Union law. Its concept corresponds to the curriculum of subjects focused on constitutional and institutional law of the European Union, the internal market, and the fundamentals of EU competition law regulation.

At the beginning of each chapter, there is a test section that assesses the students' prior knowledge necessary for understanding the discussed topic. This is followed by working with case law, where students are guided to analyze key decisions of the Court of Justice of the EU or national courts. Each decision is supplemented with questions aimed at leading to a deeper analysis of the case and its significance. Finally, each chapter is complemented by fictional examples, the goal of which is to practice the application of EU law to specific legal problems.

The practicum includes texts of founding treaties, selected protocols, and EU regulations necessary for solving the tasks.

The aim of the practicum is to present the issues of European Union law to students and interested parties from both professional and lay audiences in a practical manner, to increase their interest, and above all, to expand their knowledge of this field.
