The monograph dedicated to the legal liability of athletes for sports injuries is developed within a comparative global framework by an author who has long been engaged in the issues of the interrelations between sports and law. The book thoroughly maps the doctrinal and judicial development both in Europe and outside Europe, and its scope and depth make it a unique treatment of a previously overlooked topic in domestic conditions. Given the extensive content, it includes a printed part (512 pages), supplemented by an electronic part (an additional 494 pages) covering chapters not included in the printed form, with plans for a volume dedicated to criminal liability following the release of the volume on civil liability, as well as an exclusive complete edition of both volumes.
