Beschreibung
At the beginning of the 12th century, the great master Sachhen Künga Ňingpo in Tibet was gifted with a vision of the wisdom of a bodhisattva, who imparted to him the essential teaching containing four verses: - If you are attached to this life, then you are not a practitioner; - if you are attached to the three realms of samsara, then you lack renunciation; - if you are attached to your own interests, then you lack bodhicitta; - if attachment and conceptualization arise, then you lack insight. As Chögyal Namkhai Norbu explains, one cannot be freed from attachment without remaining in a state of mindful presence or contemplation. He teaches us how to maintain this state in our daily lives and even during sleep at night. In doing so, he provides us with both practical and historical insight into the complete Buddhist path to self-liberation.
