The Waves of Nymphs is the fourth book in the Rafael's School series. It follows the first book subtitled Fairy Wings, the second subtitled Dances of the Nagas, and the third subtitled Horns of the Fauns. Rafael's School is a mysterious romantic story with elements of healing, esotericism, and ecology. Before it was published in book form, the author published it on her blog. It captivated not only school-aged girls but also older readers of all ages. The author's love for the Earth, nature, people, and herbs inspired her while writing. The story is set partly in our contemporary world, where in the Křivoklát forests you will find a natural science high school called Rafael's School. Fifteen-year-old Marina Fialková has been studying there for the fourth year because it was her missing mother's wish. Marina thus discovers the other half of existence, the invisible world behind the curtain. She has already found her mother and is now becoming a nymph, uncovering further secrets of her family and her fated love in the water element.
