Author Ota Bouzek has spent his entire productive life and years of rest in the Jeseniky forests near Praděd. For twenty-three years, he has lived in the picturesque village of Karlova Studánka, where until recently he worked as the village chronicler and the custodian of the Chapel of St. Hubert. Health issues no longer allow him to practice hunting rights or take long walks in his beloved forest, so he seeks inspiration for his books in memories. In this book, he describes the amazing nature of Jeseniky, including hunting experiences. The book is, like some of his previous works, a summary of the many beauties of the Jeseniky region and is complemented by excellent photographs. In the text, the author returns to memories and describes everything in his unmistakable handwriting, based on a real lifestyle according to actual experiences.
