Almost everyone loves fairy tales, but very few adults actually believe in them, as life tends to be much more complicated. Seventeen-year-old Valerie thinks exactly the same until, after the tragic death of her father, she finds herself in the role of a true Cinderella. Her stepmother and sister truly relish her suffering, and it seems that her torment has no way out. However, in the end, everything might turn out completely differently. Perhaps it will show that even in modern times, there are stories with a happy ending.
