Beschreibung
The collection of short stories loosely follows the book The Last Hunt (Akcent 2013). The author once again captivatingly recounts unforgettable hunting experiences, wanderings, and especially observations of deer, roe deer, wild boar, and often overlooked birds in the surroundings of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands or on the border of Haná and Wallachia. The title suggests that the author does not shy away from reflections on the relationship between humans and nature, wildlife, and hunting, and identifies with the words of American novelist J. O. Curwood: 'There is one greater pleasure than the desire to kill – and that is the ability to let live.'
