These are stories that cannot be forgotten and remain in his hunting soul, as he himself says. "Fresh and flower-scented forest mornings, contemplative quiet evenings, and bright moonlit nights. A hunter could not wish for more. And I have experienced this beauty countless times, inhaling the intoxicating, spicy scent of the forest. When a sturdy buck emerges from the underbrush at dawn, and a cautious doe with her fawns, or a stag, the king of the forests, stands proudly by the woodland in all its glory. It bellows, and steam rises from its nostrils. This is what attracts a good hunter, and sometimes he even dreams of it in quiet slumber."
