The first part mainly contains basic definitions of the terms used. It also includes information about the legislation related to the education of children with special educational needs and gifted children. It focuses on the professional care for these individuals and goes into more detail about certain support measures. The requirements for enrollment in the first grade are also described. The possibilities for postponing compulsory schooling are outlined. We also include information about preparatory classes.
