A brief monograph by a leading Czech psychiatrist examines, summarizes, and presents the issue of delirium – disorders of consciousness that have not received the deserved attention even in foreign professional literature. Delirium and states of confusion represent very serious mental conditions that primarily occur as comorbid disorders in severe somatic diseases and intoxications.
