Today, it is hardly possible to find an area of medicine that does not utilize the knowledge or methods of molecular biology. The field that deals with the application of molecular biology to clinical practice is referred to as molecular medicine. A team of more than forty university educators and experts working in various areas of molecular medicine has compiled and presents the first Czech monograph that provides a comprehensive view of this progressive and dynamically developing field.
