The reedited volume allows today's reader to perceive the charming story of spiritual love in its original Old Czech wording, prepared for publication by Eduard Petrů based on the critical edition by Václav Vážný, and simultaneously compare it in a mirrored arrangement with a successful modern translation by Jiří Pelán.
