The only poem by Vrchlický in Bystré made this "word magician," a poet of rhythm and extraordinary imagery (born in 1983 in Litomyšl, works as an antiquarian), secretly famous even before his debut. He comments on his writing with a sense of humor: "Somewhere along the way between the villages of Bystré and Otaslavice, I lost the last remnants of sanity and began to write my verses on paper again. Humble fancies to entertain fellow travelers to shorten the dreary journey winding along swamps and blasted barns with bewildered will-o'-the-wisps. One cannot ask, the answers are obvious. And vice versa. However, with a certain degree of preservation, one can distinguish night from day. Welcome to the quarry!"
