Fifty texts selected from the poet's work over the last eight years form a cleverly composed whole, moving from intimate space through audacious 'cosmic songs' and polemics with God back into the depths of the author's subjectivity. Scenes like those from television news: crazed shooters, the funeral of Václav Havel, election campaigns... all reflected in the crooked mirror of a cynical smirk, enchanted into formally virtuosic verses that deceive with their lightness. A simple desire for understanding the meaning of Everything, a desire to find Peace, is paid for with many unanswered questions.
