Muž z ostrova Lewis – May Peter (2015)

In a bog on the Isle of Lewis, a perfectly preserved body of a young man is found, bearing signs of several horrific stab and cut wounds. The police initially believe that the young man became a victim of ritual murder hundreds of years ago, but a tattoo of Elvis Presley on the young man's right arm reveals that the murder must have occurred much later, in the second half of the twentieth century. Former police detective Fin Macleod is meanwhile returning to his native island. He has separated from his wife, left his life in Edinburgh, and his career in the police, and is now trying to rebuild old relationships and repair the dilapidated house of his parents. However, after DNA tests prove a familial relationship between the body from the bog and the father of Fin's childhood love, Marsaili Macdonald, Fin realizes that his return home will be a bit more tumultuous than he expected. Tormod Macdonald, now an old man suffering from dementia, has claimed his whole life that he is an only child and has no close relatives. And Fin discovers that Tormod had a good reason to lie in this regard.
