The teacher's manual allows for a more effective use of the textbook, providing suggestions for supplementary activities, deepening the teacher's professional background both in the field of history and especially in the applied connections to other subjects. It facilitates the creation of lesson plans by highlighting interdisciplinary relationships and the inclusion of cross-cutting themes. We support the fulfillment of the main mission of history teaching – to cultivate the historical awareness of girls and boys. To help them develop their ideas and empathy, which will enable them to penetrate the understanding of historical phenomena and events, and also contribute to shaping their positive value system based on historical experience. Thus, preserving the continuity of historical memory, primarily in the sense of passing on historical experience.
