This unconventional collection of exercises complements the Mathematics for Everyone series with interesting tasks that support the development of digital competencies in the second stage, both in mathematics and computer science. The new Collection of Digital Exercises for Everyone contains 27 examples divided into 7 thematic chapters: You don't have to draw just on paper Exploring the statements of famous mathematicians can be fun A table will help you with calculations You won't get lost with a map Data visualization helps with understanding Mathematical modeling doesn't have to be hard Show off what you know Each chapter begins with a motivational text explaining why it's good to use digital technologies in that area. The first task of each chapter is solved and explains or repeats specific digital skills needed in the programs used. This is followed by additional tasks with hints on how to proceed with the solutions. Students will gradually learn to work with data files, create tables and graphs, draw diagrams, and preparing presentations won't be a problem either. At the end of the collection, complete hints and solutions for all tasks are provided. Which programs are used in the collection? From a large number of programs, Word, Paint 3D, Excel, PowerPoint, and a freely available application were selected for solving the tasks.
