Tak teď tu - Komplementární svět Dalibora Chatrného + DVD – Chatrná Dana (2015)

The publication, released in the year of the posthumous ninetieth birthday of the extraordinarily significant and original visual artist Dalibor Chatrný, offers several new perspectives on his work. Most notably, it presents the artist's own texts for the first time in a comprehensive manner, in which an attentive reader can trace the origins and development of his creative attitudes and artistic methods. The entire book, containing nearly two thousand reproductions, is composed as a story that reveals the essence of Chatrný's creation. The selection from his lifelong work is divided into twenty-two thematic sections that help to understand and emotionally perceive various types of artistic expression, contemplation, and personal authorial experimentation. Also valuable is the fact that alongside reproductions of paintings, drawings, graphics, and spatial objects, the reader will find textual records and drawing studies or notes that preceded the creation of the final work. In this aspect, the book is conceived innovatively and allows for the observation of the entire process of the artist's creation in 'real time.'
