Pepson's poems turn reality inside out and upside down, do not shy away from provocation and evaluation ("Sabina's Faithful Reporting" and "we do not resist, thus cleverly spoiling the joy for the victors"), and they will force you to verify certain claims. For example, is it true that "the darker the night, the more visible the white smoke"? I believe not, but if it is the smoke "rising from our bodies," it is undoubtedly a poetic truth.
