Čeština Expres 4 (A2/2) anglická + CD – Holá Lída (2019)

The publication Čeština expres 4 covers the second half of level A2 and thus continues from the textbooks Čeština expres 1–3. In seven practically oriented lessons, those interested in Czech will learn to navigate and respond in everyday communication situations (e.g., topics such as Shopping, At the Office and in the Bank, Talking about Work, Computer and Internet, Schools in the Czech Republic, and many others). Like the previous volumes, the textbook provides an introduction to a lively, authentic language. It does not limit itself to a list of grammatical rules and exercises but emphasizes practical language acquisition and systematically develops all speaking skills. An important component of the teaching is the contextualization and personalization of the given topics, which enhance the communicative and sociocultural competencies of the learners. The development of linguistic competence and language tools is also not neglected. The complete Čeština expres 4 consists, like the previous volumes, of a Czech-written textbook and workbook, along with an Appendix that contains vocabulary and detailed grammatical and lexical explanations in mediation languages.
