The textbook Czech Step by Step 1 is intended for teaching at levels A1 and A2. It is suitable for students with a serious and long-term interest in Czech, students from Slavic countries, and as a supplement for university students. It contains 24 lessons that develop all language skills based on communicative situations. Grammar is presented in clear tables and through understandable diagrams and images. Similarly, more complex lexical phenomena are explained using translation. An original concept of model sentences is used to present the declension system.
