Čeština expres 1 (A1/1) polská + CD – Holá Lída (2015)

The publication Čeština expres 1 covers half of level A1 (A1/1) and thus represents the first part of the basic course "Czech for Survival." It meets the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference and is intended for beginners who want to quickly achieve language level A1. In seven practically oriented lessons, those interested in Czech will learn to navigate and respond in basic communication situations (e.g., topics such as Introductions, Orientation, My Family, When Shall We Meet, etc.). The teaching focuses on mastering speaking and listening skills. Czech grammar is maximally simplified here, and students largely discover it themselves with the help of texts and clear tables. Čeština expres 1 consists of two parts: a monolingual, Czech-written textbook, which includes a workbook, and an Appendix with vocabulary, grammar tables, and explanations that facilitate the understanding of Czech in the student's native language. The textbook is complemented by numerous colorful photographs and original illustrations, including popular comics. The publication includes an audio CD.
