The common denominator of this book is collegiality and the possibilities of its support in the context of pre-service teacher training. The authors of the publication are united not only by the theme but also by experiences from the last few years, during which their professional paths converged in a project called 'Collegial Networks.' The intention was to develop and implement a format of mutual debate and supervision for future teachers and their educators, including both academic staff and accompanying teachers, for the first time in an academic environment. The authors reflect on their experience, confront it with existing theoretical and empirical knowledge in the field of collegiality in education, and supplement it with two empirical studies and two chapters summarizing previous experiences with supervision. The book thus provides a broad range of perspectives on a topic that has so far been significantly overlooked and is very relevant.
