Beschreibung
The book focuses on the theology of the German-speaking world and addresses the issue of Easter faith among four selected contemporary authors. Hansjürgen Verweyen, Hans Kessler, Joseph Ratzinger, and Klaus Berger represent different styles of theological work, which is reflected in their understanding of Jesus' resurrection. The author aims to present how the selected authors approach the Easter theme and how they develop it, including some anthropological and eschatological connections. He attempts to identify the biblical, fundamental-theological, and systematic aspects of Jesus' resurrection among these four distinctly profiled figures of post-conciliar theology and allows their proposals to communicate critically and dialogically with one another. One of the ambitions of the book is also to suggest the connection between the authors' methods and the corresponding concept of Jesus' resurrection. However, the main goal is to draw closer to the mystery of Jesus' resurrection, as found in contemporary theological discussion, to appropriate all that is beneficial, and to offer it to the Czech theological community for further reflection.
