Beschreibung
The monograph presents the result of a long-term interest in the study of selected Russian reflections on the philosophical work of Immanuel Kant. It provides an excursion into important historical contexts of research on I. Kant's work in the Russian philosophical and intellectual environment. It presents the place and significance of I. Kant's legacy in the process of shaping Russian philosophy in the 19th century and especially in the 20th century, particularly in its first decades. For the processing of this issue, the work adopts a methodological perspective of pro et contra, developed in the early 1990s by the publishing project Russian Path: pro et contra. At its core, the work presents specific manifestations of these reflections, which focus on questions of epistemology, philosophy of law, religious metaphysics, ethics, and moral philosophy. Through analysis and comparison, the work offers insight into the peculiarities of the Russian approach to the philosophical and more broadly perceived creative legacy of I. Kant. At the same time, it suggests a number of new questions and problems for the development of research in the horizon of the future.
