The title "Sirka" by Henri Bremond manifests the author's inclination towards the theory of so-called "pure poetry." The book contains verses from wanderings through favorite places in Europe, a reminder of verses by French poets, as well as Chlebnikov or Miłosz. Although she is saddened by the bleak state of the world, she believes in love and does not abandon humor. The whiteness of snowdrops she sees as a harbinger of the life cycle of nature, humanity, and this book of verses. She applauds metaphor, which does not prevent her admiration for the peaks of rational human behavior, for original thoughts or discoveries in the field of elementary particles.
