The subject of this book is the culture of the Nungon ethnic group, who live in the mountainous part of the Huon Peninsula in Papua New Guinea. The authors of the book conveyed the opinions of the pupils of the local elementary school on issues such as culture, nature, environmental conservation, and prospects for the future. The pupils presented their ideas through drawings, which they accompanied with comments. The book consists of rich visual material obtained during field research among the Nungon people.
