The ancient forest of Izironk has long been home to elves. Its inviolability was guaranteed by dozens of treaties. Now, a war is being waged over Izironk. At the same time, something else has happened. The forest of Izironk has gone mad and become an enemy to all. Everyone nearby is drawn into the war: humans, elves, and orcs. Soldiers and warriors, settlers and solitary travelers. Some resist, while others allow themselves to be dominated and enslaved by the forest. Some seek out battles, while others avoid them, but even they must ultimately fight for their lives. Again and again, the question is raised: what caused the madness of the forest? And is it possible to heal the forest of Izironk?
