Gerda, who refused to learn from her warrior self from the future, gets carried away, becoming the object of these passions, getting caught up, and doing good while discovering the world of fan conventions, hastily generalizing other cultures and skillfully navigating the consequences of her actions. Her loyal, albeit somewhat mouthy guide Láďa experiences the plot of the film It's a Wonderful Life in a dream, and when Gerda's final attempt to leave Fairyland forever doesn't go exactly as planned, he realizes that he actually cares for her and would miss her.
