While the movie introduces us to their beginnings, their arrival in America, and the start of their careers as supervillain henchmen (their original name is Minions, meaning those little henchmen of crime bosses - but the Czech "Mimoni" might suit them better, especially considering their success), the comic series captures them at their best. If one can even talk about the best when it comes to Minions. The comic series consists of one-page punchline episodes that are completely wordless, so even the youngest readers can enjoy the comic... but thanks to the great jokes and delicious graphic design, it will also please older readers.
