Poetry is adorned with many things. However, few seek honesty in it. And because Dominik writes honestly, the world is a little less lonely. He works with words, not just with feelings and emotions. He can demonstrate the fact that to know means to sit and have calluses even on your butt... To search for springs after the devil, "as if a deaf person were placing his fingers on a flute." Bárt avoids the vulgar descriptiveness that would make his underground breathe the acidity of Ostrava beer and sneeze with the bohemian sourness of Brno. What is more important is what does not repeat, sobriety in a world where poetry boards trains that are not driven by a timetable, and where the current generation of poets "has become independent of poetry." Bárt's verses for boys and girls guard the secrets of experiences, diary initiations, and observations, but they do not carry name tags on bells; something dry and unromantic cracks there when "simplicity is chosen from the space."
