The book of collected testimonies, I Have It Before My Eyes, as if it were today, was created over several years at the Mikulášek Square Senior Home in Brno. It is built from more than thirty recorded memories of witnesses, primarily about the period of the Protectorate and World War II. However, the narratives inherently touch upon the decades before and after the war as well. The collection of stories as a whole creates a picture of everyday and wartime life not only in Brno but also in the wider surroundings.
