The poetic debut of Andrea Slováková (1981) employs a documentary method of material collection and film editing. The landscapes of the author's poetry are disturbingly attractive, reminiscent of images from experimental film shots with their altered colors. Andrea Slováková evocatively and without clichés seeks an answer to the question of how close we can be to the people we love. Authentic experiences lend conviction to the poems: "Your enormous body crushes mine, / I have no wishes, / I am driven only by a furious desire / to get deeper into you. / I can't catch my breath when you touch me, / with those paws you lift me up / and press me close."
