Učení mistrů – Veselý Josef (2009)

In modern hermetism, two currents can be traced, which are still evident today. The first, mainly represented by proponents of the so-called French magical revival, aimed to restore traditional hermetic teaching in its original purity. This direction was reflected in our interwar Universalia and is therefore relatively well-known in the Czech Republic. Advocates of the second current did not attempt to assemble a mosaic of truth from preserved fragments but sought to rediscover the lost truth. However, they also did not build their conceptual frameworks from scratch; their own knowledge and understanding of the matter were more important to them than tradition, which was often uncertain. They employed a method of construction rather than reconstruction. What results did they achieve? Various, but always interesting. This book is dedicated to these constructors. It features a selection of ten personalities of modern world hermetism, all of whom share one thing in common: in the Czech Republic, little or almost nothing is known about their teachings, with few exceptions. Here, I primarily focus on the teachings of these masters, with biographical details kept to a minimum.
