Soon after, there are more brutal murders with the same killer's signature. What initially seemed like an exceptional, incomprehensible murder soon turns into something even more horrifying. Everything seems to be connected to ancient events. Who is committing these horrific crimes? The cases will be handled by Commissioner Henrik Levin, Inspector Mia Bolander, and Prosecutor Jana Berzelius, who is approached by someone from her hidden past and is forced to go far beyond the limits of the law.
