Beschreibung
The world is changing so much that yesterday's recipes no longer apply," wrote C. K. Prahalad a few years ago. We soon realized he was right. We could, with a bit of exaggeration, add that often today's recipes no longer apply either. The future is not an extrapolation of the past. The crisis has stripped many managers of their illusions about their perfection, "endless" economic growth, and the illusory permanent competitive success. Inadequate and, above all, poorly timed implementation of crisis management, underestimating the diversification of production programs, low levels of innovation, low workforce flexibility, neglect of value-creating processes, and other factors have adversely affected the economic situation. The consequences of these phenomena, mostly negative, have contributed to the formulation of challenges for post-crisis management. The key factor in changes in management is not the setting of many criteria for the functioning of the company and market development, but rather their absolutely consistent monitoring. An active approach to solving critical situations in the company is based on an initiative to seek solutions. The focus is on strengthening the systemic rationality of the entire management of the enterprise, orientation towards learning and creating added value. Without the rehabilitation of managerial ethics, professionalism, and expertise, progress will not be achieved.
