On a hot morning, Malvína steps aboard a sailboat that is just about to set off on a week-long journey among the Croatian islands. She doesn't expect much from this venture, especially since she is stepping in as an unexpected substitute for her husband. At first, she is not at all sure whether she will survive a week at sea with former friends. However, the life of amateur sailors and the feeling of freedom on the open sea captivates her so much that she decides to enjoy the voyage at all costs. In the process, she uncovers many unexpected secrets from the past and present, but most importantly, she organizes her memories, friends, and the difficult-to-understand questions of human existence – and above all, her life.
