Beschreibung
The first story in this collection, The Shadow of the Cobra, takes place in the near future, where mafia practices are part of the everyday norm and where local rulers can transform powerless victims into intangible but omnipresent shadows. The plot of the second novella, To Kill the Dead, is set in a parallel world where people live for hundreds of years because they can undergo dozens of reincarnations, having to eliminate their old body immediately after birth. But what happens when such a nearly dead person defies their fate?
