Lady Betsy Wild's first social season was successful: she received numerous flattering marriage proposals, including one from a duke. However, before Betsy Wild gets married, she longs to experience at least one more adventure, as she feels it is undoubtedly part of the life of a young English noblewoman and that she deserves it.
