This German-language course book and workbook package is part of a three-volume series that takes students from A1/A2 through A2 to B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It offers focused preparation for the school-leaving examination, varied exercises and balanced development of all language skills. The series emphasizes both communication and systematically presented grammar, with clear tables, comprehensive grammar overviews and targeted practice of specific points. The volumes include listening exercises, phonetics, contemporary photographs and texts on current topics. Vocabulary is organized by lesson topic and divided into active and passive vocabulary, with the most important phrases from each lesson included. MP3 audio recordings for the listening texts are no longer included with the new edition, but are available to download free of charge from www.klett.cz in the teaching materials section.
