In the shadow of castles, chateaus, or natural beauties, there are sometimes monuments associated with everyday human activities that serve as tourist destinations – various transport, mining, and water constructions, factories and industrial sites, mills, breweries, or military structures. Historically, architecturally, and aesthetically, they are often equally interesting and many still serve their purpose today. Our map provides an overview of those we consider the most interesting.
