This book, in Czech, presents an original perspective on physical illnesses, including infections, headaches, injuries, heart and stomach problems, tumours and AIDS, from two specialists in the phenomenon of illness: physician, naturopath and psychotherapist Ruediger Dahlke and qualified psychologist and psychotherapist Thorwald Dethlefsen. They view illness as a general condition and an expression of life lived in stress and discomfort, with diseases representing the physical expression of messages from the spiritual realm that indicate what we should change in our lives. If we stubbornly persist in unhealthy patterns of thought and behaviour, the body makes this unmistakably clear. According to the authors, changing one’s attitude is often enough to bring noticeable relief on a physical level. The book also includes a detailed overview of symptoms and their interpretations.
