Beschreibung
Mathematics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and chemistry are not in the curriculum. Not only has the element of glory disappeared from them, but also the adventure they contain. We engineers know that the feeling of satisfaction from leaving something useful and necessary behind is worth it. We must remind ourselves of the glory of our forgotten engineers, as well as those of the present. We owe it to them. We travel across beautiful and admirable bridges, admire the interiors and exteriors of the buildings we enter, work in, and play on computers. The list is not exhaustive; we could continue with dams, cable cars, cars, and their equipment. They all share one thing – they were invented, designed, and constructed by engineers. We ourselves are members of this now so neglected and forgotten profession.
