Everything else in the stories is real (original names of murder locations, as well as dates and methods of murders). The names of politicians and famous personalities were also left unchanged. What awaited the murderer? That is, when he was caught, tried, and sentenced to death during Austria or the First Republic? Naturally, the gallows. The executioner first bound the condemned in a special harness. Then he was pressed against the board, the most massive part of the deadly device. Below, the gallows had loops into which his bound legs were caught. Subsequently, the harness was secured to a carabiner, and a noose was placed around the condemned's neck. Then there was a sudden jerk through the pulley. The noose tightened with the pull of the carabiner on the condemned's throat, and he then died.
