Anthropologist Angeles Arrien specialized in the study of myths, rituals, and symbols of ancient cultures. Therefore, she also decided to work with Crowley's Tarot, which, as one of the few, utilizes not only the symbolism of ancient Egypt and classical Greece but also the Middle Ages, Christianity, and the Far East. Additionally, it combines elements of numerology, astrology, alchemy, and Kabbalah. Even the smallest details of the cards - originally large pictorial canvases - thus have their profound significance.
