The monograph explains the development of economic and business ethics in the Czech Republic in the context of the development of this young discipline in the USA and Europe. The first part offers an insightful look at the development of theoretical knowledge and a systematic arrangement of the main approaches and concepts in a discipline that still lacks a unifying theory. The second part is practically oriented. It characterizes the main tools for promoting ethics and presents findings about the behavior of entities in both the private and public sectors from an ethical perspective.
