Václav Cílek continues in this book from his previous works, primarily from Landscapes of the Inner and Outer (2002, expanded edition 2005) and Makom - The Book of Places (2004, expanded edition 2007). He revisits the landscape and places, the environment, and climate. He even cautiously addresses 'the description of the world during a great leap forward, during which we focused more on performance than on where we are jumping...'. The book is complemented not only by photographs but also by illustrations from the legacy of painter Olga Karlíková, who listened to the songs of birds for thirty years and diligently recorded them.
