The individual publications from the Dictations series contain more than 200 dictations and exercises designed primarily for home practice of basic grammatical phenomena and overcoming difficulties associated with Czech spelling. The books are a suitable supplement to all textbooks used for grades 2-5, with individual exercises arranged according to the curricula of elementary schools and levels of difficulty. They naturally include an answer key for checking correctness and evaluating results. These very successful titles have already reached their sixth edition. With our collection of dictations and exercises, second-grade students will first review the material from the previous school year, followed by exercises focused on the alphabet, sentence, word, syllable, phoneme, letter, and the writing of ú/ů. The second part of the book consists of tasks practicing hard and soft syllables, while the third part takes a closer look at the syllables dě, tě, ně, bě, pě, vě, mě, and paired consonants.
